Local Enterprise Office Donegal to Showcase Local Creative Businesses to North American Buyers

As part of Creative Coast Donegal initiative, a group of US buyers will visit the county for a Meet the Buyer event this autumn. Taking place in Lough Eske Castle, the Meet the Buyer event is a great opportunity for local creative businesses to showcase their crafts and designs to a group of North American buyers and reach new markets.

Local Enterprise Office Donegal is now seeking expressions of interest from creative businesses in the county that would like to take part in this event, which takes place on Thursday, 22nd October. The closing date for expressions of interest is Tuesday, 31st March 2020.

Michael Tunney, Head of Enterprise in Donegal, is encouraging creative businesses in the county to make the most of this opportunity: “We’re excited to be bringing such a large group of US buyers to Donegal this year. Creative Coast Donegal is a Local Enterprise Office initiative. One of our aims is to offer creative businesses in Donegal opportunities to collectively promote and showcase their business. Our online directory and visualisation tool offer Donegal's creative sector an opportunity to list their business and aims to inform people of the wide array of talent within Donegal’s creative sector. Creative Coast Donegal is about connecting creative businesses, brokering partnerships and ultimately providing opportunities such as this Meet the Buyer event in October.”
