Modos - Circular Economy - Dublin Training Programme

Modus Circular Economy training

MODOS Training for a Sustainable Future

Most Irish businesses know that sustainability and circular economy are crucial to their success and even survival in the mid to long term. However, time pressures, resource constraints and lack of expertise makes this an uphill battle for small to medium businesses.

In response to the challenges facing micro and small enterprises in building their capacity and understanding of Green Business and the Circular Economy, an online training course funded by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications and being run by the Local Authority sector is now being offered for free to qualifying SMEs and micro-enterprises.

The MODOS Circular Economy Training Programme for SMEs is designed for SMEs and micro-enterprises operating in Ireland. The training programme is run online over three weeks, with one session (2- 3 hours) each week. Participants can also avail of free one-to-one mentoring and in-person networking opportunities. Each 3-session programme is limited to 20 participants.

Businesses taking the MODOS programme will:

  • Improve environmental performance
  • Get expert guidance on sustainable practices and circular economy
  • Identify new business opportunities and customer segments
  • Upskill and engage staff
  • Reduce costs, through improved efficiencies
  • Communicate green credentials to customers
  • Network with like-minded businesses
