The Local Enterprise Office is committed to its transparency obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our data protection notice, for personal data that is supplied to us by our clients is available at www.localenterprise.ie/legal . This notice contains important information about how we process personal data that is supplied to us by clients. We request that you read the notice carefully and that you ensure that it is made available to any data subjects (e.g. your employees) whose personal data you provide to us.
By accepting our Terms and Conditions you confirm that: (a) you have complied with your own data protection obligations in respect of the personal data that you supply to us and that you are entitled to disclose such personal data to us; and (b) you will ensure that a copy of our data protection notice (is sent to data subjects (e.g. your employees) whose personal data you provide to us.
Security & Fee Payments
- The Local Enterprise Office website facilitates online booking of its courses/events.
- The course/event fee is due upon online registration and a participant's place is secured on payment of the fee only.
- Payment can be made by cash, cheque and online credit/visa debit card transaction.
- Please make cheques payable to Fingal County Council.
- Hardcopy forms containing personal bank account details of clients will be shredded once payment is taken and a receipt is printed.
- Personal information is sent securely using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software.
- Electronic payments are handled by Realex.
- At no time is credit/debit card information stored on Fingal Local Enterprise Office servers.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to a course/an event if (a) payment has not been received prior to the course/event start date and/or (b) the course/event is not suitable to the person seeking a place.
- The transfer of a paid course/event place can be made at any time without penalty provided the person to whom the course/event place is being transferred is deemed an eligible participant.
Cancellations Policy
All LEO Fingal courses and programmes are subsidised and participant fees are nominal. Fees paid to LEO Fingal are ordinarily not refundable if you subsequently cancel your place. If a place on a course is cancelled up to 48 hours before the course commencement date the attendee may be offered a transfer to an alternative course, up to the same value, at the discretion of LEO Fingal.
