Aimed at:

Businesses located in County Kildare that are trading longer than 18 months.

The Value of LEAN:

The core LEAN idea is to maximise customer value whilst minimising waste in your business. Simply put, LEAN means doing more with your existing resources while giving your customers what they want, when they want it, and at a price that they are willing to pay that makes profit for your business.

What Time Commitment is Involved

  • There is a one day group work introduction to the LEAN programme.
  • The training will be followed with 5 onsite visits by an experienced LEAN Practitioner over a 12 week period.
  • A final workshop will take place (date to be confirmed) for participants to share their experiences and success stories.

Who is facilitating the LEAN Programme

The programme is being facilitated by Stuart Nelson, founder and Managing Director of Jigsaw Consulting.

Jigsaw are a LEAN Business Ireland, award-winning, LEAN Service Provider. They help make businesses better through creative problem solving, people development and process innovation. Jigsaw deliver LEAN training and project mentoring across the country and are founding members of the Midlands Regional LEAN Network. Jigsaw’s original LEAN Mindset research and workshop won the inaugural LEAN Business Ireland award for Best Overall Contribution to LEAN Knowledge in 2018.

Stuart is principal consultant with Jigsaw and works with organisations to solve problems and enable them to develop an Organisational Growth Mindset. Stuart brings over 20 years experience to the analysis and improvement work he carries out. Using tools from LEAN, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking, and techniques such as coaching, mentoring, and training, he is optimally positioned to guide the person and the process through the change cycle. Stuart holds Green and Black Belts in LEAN and Six Sigma, professional qualifications in Training and Coaching, along with 3rd level qualifications in Psychology, Innovation, LEAN, Six Sigma, and Strategic Management.

How much will it cost?

The full LEAN Programme is heavily subsidised and your contribution is just €50 per company. A maximum of two participants per company may attend.
