Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Kilkenny launches Autumn Training Schedule 2016

The Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Kilkenny has just launched its autumn training programme schedule. The training brochure will be in the post next week and online booking is available @ www.localenterprise.ie/kilkenny  With 24 training programmes along with seminars and regional conferences there is plenty on offer to entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The LEO Kilkenny has developed a range of courses and workshops aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of small business owner-managers, so their business has an increased opportunity for success. If you are considering self-employment as a career option, the free Business Idea generation workshops and Start Your Own Business Programme are aimed at assisting you to assess your idea, its viability and with your decision whether to proceed.

The LEO Kilkenny is also hosting a number of seminars – Introduction to Tendering is a seminar being run in conjunction with the Procurement Unit in Kilkenny County Council. We have engaged Intertrade Ireland to host an information seminar aimed at small and micro-enterprises new to public tendering. Lean for Micro is a free business information seminar that the South East Local Enterprise Offices in partnership with Enterprise Ireland are offering clients the opportunity to adopt Lean Business principles in their organisation to increase performance and competitiveness. A seminar in relation to how businesses can innovate and grow via the largest support network for SME’s - Enterprise Europe network will also be held later in November.

October is a busy month in the calendar of events as LEO Kilkenny gets ready to host 2 regional conferences- National Women’s Enterprise Day – South East Meets Mid West, the Road to Success  - which will commence on Wednesday evening 19th October. This event in turn will be follow by Bizfest – South East regional business conference. Registered delegates can enjoy formal and informal networking opportunities at both of these events.
