Women in Business Network Event – May 2022

Local Enterprise Offices Leitrim, Longford & Westmeath recently held a very enjoyable Tri County Women in Business Networking event in the stunning Lough Rynn Hotel. More than 70 local entrepreneurs and businesswomen participated at the event and attendees got to hear the inspirational stories of Guest speakers Ellen Gunning of the Irish Academy of Public Relations and Iris Kavanagh, leading marketer and corporate responsibility advocate.

Ellen founded the Irish Academy of Public Relations, the largest private provider of online public relations, journalism and event management education in Ireland and gave some wonderful insights into how she broke through barriers to succeed in business.

Iris discussed Digital Marketing and promoting businesses, drawing from her experience in working with a range of Irish brands including Aramark, Top Oil, CIF and starting up her own marketing consultancy firm, Pennypop. Some images of the Event are below.
