LEO Meath engaged Verling Consulting to help with the establishment of a Craft Collective ( now called Meath Made) here in Co. Meath.  During Summer 2022 a number of public meetings were held as well as some interim steering committee meetings, with the result being that we are ready to open membership for a new Craft Collective.   

Membership

Are you a professional craft designer/maker working in Meath?   Membership of Meath Made is open to craft designers/makers who are living and working in Meath.

Who Should Apply

Members are preferably professional, or semi-professional craft designer/makers. The Membership Committee will recommend to the network Management Committee to accept or refuse an application for membership, depending on the quality of the applicant’s work.

Once a member is accepted into membership, she/he will continue to be a member as long as the annual subscription is paid, when due.  A lapsed member will be eligible to apply to re-join the group.  Such application will be treated as a new application for membership.  The current annual membership fee is €75 per individual.  New membership applications are considered by the Membership Committee.  The Membership Committee is supported by a panel* of independent adjudicators experienced in the craft sector who meet to consider membership applications. Membership calls will be notified through the Network’s website.

* The names of adjudicators will be available at time of application.

Craft Collective County Meath

In Spring 2022, LEO Meath began to work with the craft, design and makers sector in County Meath with the aim of developing a Craft Collective for the County

A series of public meetings were held on Thursday, 28th July in Trim (1st Public Consultation Meeting Craft Collective) and again on Thursday, 25th August in Trim (Craft and Creative Network Consultation Feedback (Meeting No.2)).
