Employment Law - Your Obligations as an Employer
The programme is designed to assist promoters self audit their business for compliance with their obligations as employers.
The course focuses on the requirements in the areas of:
- Recruitment, Interview & Selection.
- Appointment, Contracts, Conditions of Employment.
- Induction, Probation & Performance Management.
- Grievance, Discipline & Dignity at Work Policies
- Development of Staff handbook to include company policies & procedures.
On completion the participants will have undertaken a programme of awareness of their obligations based on examples, case studies and legal requirements. They will be provided with templates of critical documents to support and enhance their duty as employers. The course will look at the Workplace Relations Commission and its implications in the area of employment law.
