This Social Media Marketing Bootcamp takes place over five online sessions and is ideal for businesses who want to sell their products or services using social media. It is an intensive course on the main aspects of social media marketing including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Chat GPT plus you will learn how to shoot and edit your own marketing videos and how design eye-catching graphics for social media using Canva.

Week 1: How to edit marketing videos and design eye catching graphics for your social media marketing
- Editing a video - how to edit video clips into a marketing video
- When should you shoot your videos landscape or Portrait
- Tips on shooting marketing videos
- How to edit eye catching graphics using for social media using Canva
Week 2: Facebook marketing
In this session you will learn how to use a Facebook business page as a free marketing tool How to ensure your Facebook business page is setup correctly
- What is it that you should be posting on Social Media in order to attract and engage followers
- How to post from your page (Images, videos, links to website) including pitfalls to avoid
- How to use Meta Business Suite when posting to Facebook and Instagram.
- How to use the Facebook app and the Business suite app to manage your page
How the algorithm works and how to reach more people
Week 3: How to use Instagram for Marketing (Level 1)
Instagram is the leading social network for most businesses because you tend to get more reach and engagement. In this session you’ll learn how to promote your products and services.
- How to ensure your profile is setup correctly from a marketing point of view
- Overview of Instagram shopping
- Why Reels are so important and how to create a Reel
- How search works and how to get your account and content found in search
- How the feed and Algorithm works
- How to post
- Overview of Instagram Stories
Week 4: How to advertise on Facebook and Instagram
In this session we will look at how to use ads on Facebook and Instagram as a low cost highly targeted way to reach your potential customers.
- Where so ads appear on Facebook and Instagram
- Why you should use the Ads tool rather than the boost post button
- How to target your ads based on geography, age, gender, demographics and interests
- How to use advanced targeting including website retargeting and lookalike audiences
- Step by step demonstration of how to setup an ad campaign
How to analyse the results.
Week 5:
Topic 1: TikTok Marketing
Understand How Tik Tok Works
- An overview of the main areas in the app - The For You Page, Friends, Create, Inbox, Profile
- How does Tik Tok compare to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter when using it as a person?
Understand what type of videos are created on TikTok
- What type of videos do people tend to make
- What type of videos do businesses tend to make
How to make and post TikTok videos
- How to make a video with video clips, music and text
- Examples of lots of TikTok videos from Irish businesses
