Complaints Policy

The following procedure covers complaints, which relate to any service that the Local Enterprise Office Roscommon provides directly to the public. It does not cover complaints about related organisations, issues and decisions.

The services of the Local Enterprise Office Roscommon include providing business information, advice & referrals, as well as a number of specialist services such as provision of financial assistance packages, training, mentor support and management development services.

If you have a complaint about a particular Government policy you should contact the Minister responsible for that area of policy or your local TD.

How to make a complaint to the Local Enterprise Office Roscommon

You may make a complaint by writing, email, telephone or by appointment in person. If writing to the Local Enterprise Office outline your complaint as follows:

Nature of the Complaint
Service that the complaint relates to.
Fee paid for any service (i.e. training course)
Name of the Staff Member that you were dealing with or Name of any other official providing a service on behalf of the Enterprise Office.

Please address your complaint to the Head of Local Enterprise Roscommon, and state how you would like the Local Enterprise Office to follow up your complaint.

What happens next?

We will reply within 15 working days of receipt of your complaint. If it is not possible to give you a full reply within this time, for instance, when an investigation is required, we will give you an interim response telling you what is being done to deal with your complaint and when you can expect a full reply.

If the complaint refers to a service, which may have been contracted out by the Enterprise Office, or which is outside the control of the Local Enterprise Office, the Local Enterprise Office, on your behalf will make the complaint known to the relevant person or body.
