The Enterprise Ireland RD&I Fund is designed to provide support for research, development, and technological innovation relevant at all stages of company development, and which will enable companies to progress from undertaking an initial research project to high level Innovation and R&D activity. Eligible LEO Client Companies (sole traders are not eligible) can apply to the fund for support to develop new or improved product, services or processes under the following offers:

The IP Strategy Offers are available to clients of the Local Enterprise Offices. These offers support Companies to obtain the necessary external expert IP advisory and support services to address immediate IP issues e.g., prior-art* research in support of an RD&I Technical Feasibility study; IP Audit of existing R&D output; draft and file a patent etc

The Innovation Voucher Programme was developed to build links between Ireland's publicly funded Knowledge Providers (i.e. higher education institutes, public research bodies) and small and medium-sized businesses. Innovation Vouchers worth €5,000 are available to assist a company or companies to explore a business opportunity or problem with a registered knowledge provider.
