NewFontiers

New Frontiers is an Entrepreneur Development Programme run over three phases, which provides an integrated and comprehensive set of business development supports to participants including incubation space, training, individual coaching and funding. It is delivered in the Cork Region by the Rubicon Centre. 

Rubicon

The Rubicon Centre is here to support entrepreneurs start, accelerate and grow their business. The experienced team of start up professionals and advisors supported 500 businesses over the last 10 years.

Ignite is an incubation centre in University College Cork for higher education graduates of any discipline to create jobs by nurturing entrepreneurship, accelerate business start-ups, turn innovative ideas into innovative products and services and participate in a structured programme on all aspects of bringing a product or service to market.

Schools Enterprise Programme

The Student Enterprise Programme is an enterprise education programme that aims to provide support to second level schools throughout the South Cork region wishing to embrace entrepreneurial projects and stimulate business skills within their schools curriculum.

Food Academy Start Logo

The Food Academy Start Programme is aimed at supporting and nurturing start up food businesses. It is centered on workshops, designed by Bord Bia and SuperValu.

Student Inc. is a full-time 13-week full-time programme that runs annually over the summer months of June, July and August. Students from all years and academic disciplines. The programme was set up to encourage student entrepreneurs to assess the feasibility of their business ideas and start a business in a safe and nurturing environment.

 

Student Inc provides students with seed funding and access to a network of entrepreneurs, trainers, mentors and investors across the South-west region. The programme is led by MTU’s Carole O'Leary, Regional Programme Manager for 3rd Level Student Entrepreneurship, and the MTU Enterprise Interns. In addition to the supports above the students have access to fully serviced office space in their home campus business incubators.
