Niall Bodkin,
Chairman of eCAI said “Planning for next year’s peak starts now. Analysing data from the Christmas peak period is essential for planning the year ahead. Taking information from your sales, your highs and lows, putting it together with analytical data is crucial to forming a plan for peak 2107.”
Maurits Bruggink,
Secretary General of the Brussels based European Multi-channel and Online Trade Association (EMOTA) said “"Nobody knows for sure the effects Brexit will have on eCommerce trade between EU states and Britain. One thing we do know is we need to start planning for every eventuality. Using European Networks could offset any negative Brexit outcomes to your trade, and they should be utilised regardless to boost your existing market base.”
Cllr. Paul McAuliffe,
Chair of the Economic Development & Enterprise Committee for Dublin City Council said “the continued development of e-commerce is vital for Irish Business in accessing new markets for their goods and services and in particular as a practical response to the continued uncertainty posed by BREXIT.”
Greg Swift,
Head of Enterprise LEO Dublin City said
“LEO is delighted to continue our partnership with the eCAI as they seek to promote responsible and innovative e-commerce for their members. Supporting the growth potential of the sector will offer huge economic benefits to the business of Dublin and Ireland as they face a period of great challenge and uncertainty”
