Why Tender For Public Contracts?:

InterTradeIreland have reported that the estimated worth of public contracts on the island of Ireland is €13billion. As such public contracts should be seen as an extremely lucrative and an area of potential growth for SMEs. As part of the Dublin Reginal Enterprise Plan 2022 - 2024, the Local Enterprise Office have partnered with InterTradeIreland, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, South Dublin Chamber of Commerce, LGMA, Office of Government Procurement and IBEC - to deliver a Programme aimed at demystifying the public contract tendering process.

The Local Enterprise Office Tenders Training Programme:

The Local Enterprise Office has created a programme which will provide both training and 1 to 1 business support to small businesses in the Dublin region.

The programme will consist of the following:

• A half day Winning Business Through Tenders training course
• 4 hours mentoring for each business who attends the training to help with their first tender application
