This practical workshop will cover:

  • Getting started on WordPress
  • How to create a blog on the site
  • How to ensure that the website is responsive
  • Build an audience for the website through using the WordPress social media syndication, sharing buttons, SEO tools, and insightful site statistics to increase traffic to the website.
  • A brief overview of the extra features available in Wordpress

Local Enterprise Office Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, in partnership with the Innovation Academy UCD, invites teachers from secondary schools in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County to attend a free Enterprise Education workshop, run over two half days, in March 2017 (9th and 29th).

The workshop will be delivered by tutors from Innovation Academy in their facilities on University College Dublin’s Belfield campus. Places are limited & Pre-Booking is essential.
