Trading Online Vouchers Scheme Open for Applications

With the trend ever increasing towards online spending it is estimated that only 23% of small Irish businesses are engaged in any meaningful way in eCommerce sales. For businesses employing less than ten people this percentage is even lower. It is now believed that 70% of online purchases made in Ireland are done in overseas markets. There is now an urgency to ensure that businesses recognise that this is happening and that they are encouraged and supported to correctly respond to this digital reality.

In order to support this goal, the National Digital Strategy from the Department of Communications, Energy & Natural Resources (DCENR) is supporting a Trading Online Voucher Programme and has teamed up with the Local Enterprise Offices to deliver this to Irish business.

The Fingal Local Enterprise Office is holding a FREE half-day Information Session on the Trading Online Voucher Scheme on 24th November 2017 in the Riasc Centre, Swords. Sign In takes place at 8.30am with complimentary tea/coffee. The information session begins at 9:00am and will conclude at 1:00pm.

It is a condition of applying for the vouchers that applicants attend this information session.
