These workshops aim to demystify the process of raising finance for your business.

Our experienced trainers will give general information on the types of finance available to small business from lenders such as MFI (Microfinance Ireland) and the mainstream banks and credit unions, to other types of financing such as leasing, invoice discounting, private investment, grants, business angels, crowd funding etc.

Specific information will be given on how loans are assessed, including the type of ratios and 'what if' analysis that is generally applied.

The cornerstone of any investment proposition is the Business Plan, and time will be spent explaining how to write a credible and convincing business plan with financial projections.  The trainers will also give plenty of tangible examples of common reasons loans are refused, and there will be reference made to the mechanism for appealing refused applications (including the Credit Review Office).
