To mark Local Enterprise Week 3rd -7th March, Monaghan Local Enterprise office is teaming up with the Climate Action and Environment Teams in Monaghan County Council to bring up to date information on Business Grants & Supports and the Decarbonisation Zone.
Who should attend:
- SME's and Large Firms in Co. Monaghan.
The agenda :
10:00 Opening address by An Cathaoirleach, Cllr Paul Gibbons.
- 10.10am : Marc Coyle from Climate Action, will give an overview of the Monaghan Decarbonisation Zone and the role of Monaghan County Council.
- 10.20am : Eilín Connolly from Local Enterprise Office, will review what is eligible for grant aid under the current 75% Energy Efficiency Grant and how to apply for it.
- 10.35: John Flynn from SEAI, will present on what supports are available to independent firms and also talk about collective business supports through the Sustainable Energy Community ( SEC) models.
- 10.50 : Niall Malone from Environment, will outline the Circular Waste campaign ‘Take a minute- Before you Bin it’ and the Green Business Hub.
- 11.00 am Gerry Reaburn from Credit Technology Gateway will review Innovation Vouchers for firms with 'energy projects'.
- 11.05am: Closing Remarks CE Monaghan County Council Robert Burns.
- Refreshments and Networking.
