Local Enterprise Office Laois will be hosting a Laois Women in Business Networking Event with guest speakers Alison O'Kelly (Director AOK Communications Ltd.) & Katelyn Cummins (Rose of Tralee) in Batonis, The Gatehouse, Emo, Co. Laois. Lunch included on the day.

Alison O'Kelly will be delivering a dynamic, expert-led talk on 'Building Your Personal Brand Online'. Founder and director of AOK Communications Ltd. Alison brings with her years of experience in leadership and public speaking, as well as a diploma in digital marketing. She has shaped AOK's client-focused approach, helping countless businesses through a combination of coaching and cutting-edge digital marketing strategies.

Hailing from the small village of Ballyouskill in the Kilkenny countryside, and working as an apprentice electrician with Alpha Drives in Portlaoise, Katelyn Cummins has enjoyed an immense past few months. Katelyn qualified as the Laois Rose back in April 2025 before going on to claim the title of the International Rose of Tralee in August, becoming the first-ever Laois Rose to win. Following on from this, Katelyn received an invite to partake in Dancing with the Stars 2026, managing to claim the title with her partner Leonardo Lini.
