A series of Brexit Webinars for Local Businesses

LEO Louth is committed to helping local businesses navigate the changes that will occur on January 1st 2021.

As such, we are sponsoring a series of Brexit webinars specifically aimed at businesses in County Louth.

These webinars, delivered by Dundalk Chamber of Commerce in association with Intertrade Ireland and Drogheda and District Chamber of Commerce will be open to members and non members alike, with the goal of answering your questions around a variety of Brexit issues.

Dundalk Chamber is running a trio of webinars starting with one on 11th November with a Focus on Customs.

LEO Louth is also sponsoring Drogheda and District Chamber of Commerce's Brexit Briefing, due to take place on 26th November.

The Chamber will be joined on this breakfast briefing by a representative of Grant Thornton to go through the actions your business can take now to prepare for Brexit.

The briefing will feature:

  • Overview of Brexit: where we are in the process right now and the potential outcomes from an economic viewpoint
  • VAT and Customs: A number of practical yet crucial steps from both a VAT and Customs perspective with a view to making the transition as smooth as possible for businesses on 1st January

  • Corporate and International Tax: A very high level overview of the current impact to corporate tax and future changes that will impact international groups, including withholding taxes and EU directives.
