Our business advice clinics are running as normal. These free clinics are open to assist those who are thinking about starting out in business or who have an existing business and are at a stage where they need some direction or advice.

Micro-Enterprise Assistance Fund

Now open for applications, this fund is to assist small businesses of between 2 - 10 employees, have suffered a 30% reduction of turnover due to Covid19 restrictions, who are ineligible for the ReStart Grant.

Trading Online Voucher Scheme

We are pleased to advise that the second phase of the Trading Online Voucher Scheme  is now accepting applications through your Local Enterprise Office.

We would encourage you to submit your completed application form to Louth Local Enterprise Office to TradingOnline@leo.louthcoco.ie

Microfinance Ireland Supports for COVID-19

The COVID 19 Business Loan from Microfinance Ireland (MFI) is a government funded initiative to support small businesses through the current period of  uncertainty and protect job creation/sustainment in Ireland.  

If any micro-enterprise is impacted or may be impacted negatively by COVID-19 resulting in a reduction of 15% or more in turnover or profit, AND they are having difficulty in accessing Bank finance, the MFI COVID-19 Business Loan may be an alternative funding solution for them

Business Re- Start Grant

Louth County Council are administering a Grant scheme which will give direct grant aid to micro and small businesses to help them with the costs associated with reopening and reemploying workers following COVID-19 closures, equivalent to the businesses rates bill of 2019.

At present Louth County Council is awaiting clarification on the enhanced scheme as announced by the Government as of July 24th.
