Certificate in Applied Business Development for Food Tourism

LEO Louth and Meath on behalf of Louth and Meath County Councils are very excited to announce that applications are now open to undertake the Certificate in Applied Business Development for Food Tourism being delivered by Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT). The start date is Tuesday 6th February!

 

This Level 7 Certificate is the first of its kind in the region and is an opportunity for you to engage in a practical certified programme that will build your skill set and knowledge to run a successful Food Tourism business in the Boyne Valley. Start Date & Duration

This course will be commence on Tuesday 6th February 2018 and is delivered over two semesters (Feb-May and Sept-Dec), each semester is twelve weeks in duration. Two evenings per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and four Saturday mornings per semester. The majority of the programme will be delivered on campus at DkIT with the exception of Saturday classes which will be delivered in Navan Education Centre.

 

Cost

This programme has been developed by DkIT in collaboration with Meath and Louth Local Enterprise Offices (LEO’s) who have heavily subsidised the programme fee’s to encourage engagement from producers and food tourism providers across both counties. The cost per participant is €350.
