“March is fast approaching, and all thoughts turn to enterprise here in County Louth” so said Thomas McEvoy, Head of Enterprise at the Local Enterprise Office Louth.

He continued “Local Enterprise Office (LEO) Louth are proud to announce a program of 12 free networking and learning events for business owners across the county taking place from 4-9th March.”

Retailers will benefit from practical workshops in both Drogheda and Dundalk, focusing on engagement with customers to drive greater sales and loyalty.

SME’s will learn from Francis Verling about how to sell successfully and seal the deal.

Louth’s International Women’s Day celebrations with be led by Network Louth, the networking organisation for women in business and enterprise. Their event will feature an intensive branding and communications workshop from broadcaster Alison Comyn.

Drogheda and Dundalk Chambers will both host learning and networking events during the week. Drogheda will launch Skillnet M1 and stage a speed networking event while Dundalk will deliver events on cyber security and employment supports.

The food producing community are invited to a workshop on food hygiene and compliance hosted by the Boyne Valley Food Network in the North East Food Hub in Ardee.

Refresh Boyne, hosted by The Mill Enterprise Hub in Drogheda, will examine the future of technology in entertainment with Glen Killane, MD of eir TV and eir Sport.

Geraldine Johnson will deliver a Business communications workshop, while the Regional Development Centre will host one-to-one entrepreneur clinics.

The week will wrap up with the Louth final of the National Enterprise Awards where the 3 category winners will be announced. One outstanding company will go forward to represent Louth in the National Enterprise Awards at the Mansion House in Dublin in May.
