The National Enterprise Awards may be virtual this year, but the occasion is nonetheless exciting. This year we’re proud to have Conor Grimes and Jayne Gavin of Spoonful Botanical representing Louth in this prestigious business competition.” exclaimed Thomas McEvoy, Louth County Council’s Head of Enterprise.

The National Enterprise Awards celebrates indigenous Irish companies who are innovating, creating new products, generating employment and developing export markets.

Handmade in Co. Louth, Spoonful Botanical is an innovative blend of the highest quality herbs, spices, and fermented fruits. They combine high quality food based ingredients, with renowned properties to combat inflammation, to create a delicious “spoonful” that is taken on a daily basis. The product is used by athletes who use it to keep their joints and muscles supple and arthritis sufferers who love it for the very same reason.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on localenterprise.ie/awards at 6pm on Thursday, 11th February. No registration is needed, everyone is welcome to tune in live and enjoy the occasion. There are 14 awards in this year‘s competition including 8 regional awards. Other categories include Export,  Innovation, Pivot, Brexit-ready, Future Focus and the overall winner.

“This is a really important competition for business owners. The process of taking part in the competition strengthens companies. It challenges them to scrutinize how they do what they do and why they do what they do. Past finalists and winners of this competition have gone on to great things. We know that Conor and Jayne and the team at Spoonful Botanical are destined for greatness and we wish them the very best of luck on Thursday night” Thomas concludes.

The National Enterprise Awards will be live at 6pm Thursday  February 11th.
