The Lean for Business programme has already proven its value to Louth businesses. Karen Matthews of Hoey’s DIY shared “We were looking for ways to improve productivity and enhance quality. Mark Dearey of The Spirit Store outlines “The grant supported us in upgrading our keg room and integrating our cooling systems. The benefits are twofold. Our projected savings over the coming year are approx. €3,000 in energy costs, and our CO₂ emissions will decrease by an estimated 3.6 tonnes. But the biggest benefit was the Green for Business Report. This has given us a customised roadmap to energy efficiency with plenty more actions to follow. I would highly recommend it.”
