National Women’s Enterprise Day Fast Approaches

Women from across Louth and Meath are joining forces on Thursday October 17th to celebrate National Women’s Enterprise Day 2019.

With a stellar line-up, it promises to be an event that will inform, educate, entertain and inspire, female business owners and aspiring female entrepreneurs.

Sarah Mallon, Local Enterprise Office Louth, outlines “The event, taking place at CityNorth Hotel, will be hosted by Lorraine Murphy, a coach specialising in leadership and performance, who is the NWED Ambassador for the North-East.”

“Speakers at the conference include Evelyn Garland, co-founder of the multi-award winning Simply Fit Food and Elaine Connolly, founder of Cubicle 7 Entertainment, makers of clever games for awesome people.”

She continues “This half-day conference will also feature Sarah Daly, Director of Creative Spark, who specialises in enterprise supports for those in the creative sector. The audience will also hear from journalist, broadcaster and entrepreneur Margaret E Ward, famed for her straight-talking and wit.”

“Tickets for this event are priced at just €25 and are available by clicking here. It’s a great opportunity for women in business, or thinking of starting a business, to meet others, to network, to learn and to grow.”

Sarah concludes “The theme of National Women’s Enterprise Day 2019 is “Making It Happen” and the latest statistics indicate that female entrepreneurs certainly are. Records show that over 22,000 female entrepreneurs sought and received support from their Local Enterprise Office last year. National Women’s Enterprise Day 2019 is set to be the biggest so far and we hope you’ll join us on 17th October at CityNorth Hotel to be part of it.”
