Strength in Numbers: Local Enterprise Week 2022

“Last week, we published the Louth programme of events for Local Enterprise Week and we’ve had a great reaction to that. This week we are delighted to announce our collaboration with our colleagues in Cavan, Monahan and Meath to host additional free events for Local Enterprise Week,” explains Sarah Mallon, Programme Manager for Local Enterprise Week Louth.

“One of the lessons we learned through COVID-19, is that geography is no boundary for an online event. By teaming up with our colleagues in the other Local Enterprise Offices, we can bring our local businesses a greater selection of events, learning, and networking opportunities. Whether local or regional, all of these events can be booked via our website www.localenterprise.ie/louth

On Tuesday, March 8th, LEO Cavan will host “Prepare your business for a Low Carbon Future”. This morning seminar features practical advice for businesses seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and the supports available to do so.

The following day, LEO Meath are exploring the Food Export journey. Hosted by food industry expert James Burke, this session will help business to understand how to take their food product from local to global. Places are very limited at this afternoon event and once it’s full, it’s full, so early booking is essential.

Thursday morning sees LEO Cavan host a Trading Online Voucher Information Seminar. This is a must for any business seeking to start or grow their online sales. With top tips for driving growth online and information about available grants is not to be missed.

Sarah continues “The North East Lean Network is a collaboration between industry, academia and state agencies in the region. Thursday’s morning seminar will examine ways that business can be more effective, efficient and drive continuous improvement.”

Food and Retail take centre stage as two titans of Irish industry take centre stage on Thursday afternoon. Founder of The Arboretum Rachel Doyle will join Itsa Café and Restaurant founder Domini Kemp for a lively discussion on emerging trends in the retail and hospitality sector.

Sarah concludes, “We have 22 free local and regional events on offer to support your business growth and development. Click here to download the full programme of Local Enterprise Week events and book your free places.”
