NWED 2025

Don’t miss National Women’s Enterprise Day on Thursday, 16th October! Co-hosted by LEO Louth and LEO Meath, this event is a must for female entrepreneurs, whether you’re established or just starting out.

The event will be hosted by Lorraine Murphy, an acclaimed executive coach and trainer with over 20 years’ experience in leadership development. Passionate about empowering SMEs and supporting women in business, Lorraine will guide attendees through a morning packed with valuable insights and experiences.

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Katriona O’Sullivan, a leading advocate for digital equality and inclusive education. Author of the #1 Irish Non-Fiction bestseller 'Poor', her journey from leaving school early to becoming a Maynooth University lecturer and Microsoft Ireland research lead is one of resilience. She works with policymakers, industry, and communities to ensure technology and education open doors for all.

Our region Ambassador for 2025 is Ali Molloy, founder of High Tide Event and Experience Agency, a pioneering Louth-based business known for its creativity, large-scale event delivery, and client-focused approach. She brings over 18 years of international experience in event management and brand engagement, having led high-impact projects for global brands across five continents.

Our Meath entrepreneur  is Kate Scott, founder and CEO of HoloToyz, an award-winning Irish toy company creating a range of physical toys that come to life through Augmented Reality. With a background in design, advertising, and marketing, Kate saw the growing shift to screens when her children were just 4 and 6 and set out to blend hands-on play with technology in a way that keeps childhood at its heart while keeping children away from social media and the open web.

National Women’s Enterprise Day takes place from 9.00am-1pm, followed by lunch at The Monasterboice Inn, Drogheda.

Tickets are just €30, including lunch—spaces are limited, so reserve your spot today!
