Participants would need to have attended our previous 'GDPR Workshop 1 Risk Assessments in preparation for the GDPR' and/or 'GDPR workshop 2 Data Protection Impact Assessment - DPIA'
This course covers the aspects of Subject Access Requests including how a SAR is defined, how to respond to a request, what the legal obligations of an organisation are, and how to respond to a SAR effectively.
Course Outline & Anticipated Practical Outcomes
As more and more data is processed, Data Breaches are an increasingly common occurrence. This course gives an outline as to how data breach need to be responded to, time frames and key steps in the process.
Outline topics include:
- What is a data breach
- Data breach defined under GDPR
- Role of Management in Data Breach Management
- Data Breach Management Process
With only 12 participants, there will be a practical workshop element to this course.
Note, this is workshop #3 in a series of GDPR specific workshops. It is recommended to complete them in logical sequence (where possible) to maximise learning.
