What is it?

These clinics will give participants the opportunity to meet with a IT consultant on a one-to-one basis to work through any aspect of the internet or their website in a very practical manner without techie language.  This clinic can prove very beneficial to those considering setting up their website who needs impartial advice, or those seeking to improve traffic to their current website.

Objective:

The objective of the clinic will be to identify areas where the performance of the website can be improved and to draw up a specification for the refurbished website, including e-commerce functionality as appropriate. 

What will be covered?

This is open to clients but will also include review under the following topics:

• What do you want your website to do for your business?
• How is your website performing now?
• How does the site rank in search engines including Google, Bing and Yahoo search?
• What SEO measures have been carried out on the site?
• Accessibility - Are all menu elements and pages easy to see and read?
• Navigation - Are links clearly identified?
• Design - Does it complement and enhance the image of your business?
• Legal Issues - Are there any copyright issues?

Duration:

One to one sessions comprising 1 to 2 hours per individual business
