Business owners, entrepreneurs and remote workers are invited to take part in an Ideas Over Coffee session in MTEK1 , Monaghan, that will directly inform — and lead to — practical mentoring, training and management development supports they can later access themselves.
The pilot initiative, delivered collaboratively by Local Enterprise Office Monaghan (LEO Monaghan), Connected Hubs and Enterprising Monaghan will run from 9.30am to 11am at MTEK1 on Tuesday, March 10th. Rather than a formal presentation, the session is designed as an open conversation where participants set the agenda and discuss the real challenges facing their businesses.
This event is open to companies and entrepreneurs based both in and outside of the Connected Hubs network, including remote workers and microbusinesses. Local Monaghan businesses interested in contributing ideas for future mentoring, training, and management development programmes are also welcome to attend.
“This is a practical, bottom-up approach. By hearing directly from entrepreneurs and hub users, we can design supports that are genuinely relevant and responsive to business needs as we plan for 2026,” said Pamela Kerr of LEO Monaghan.
“The local business community is a vital source of insight. Bringing people together in an informal setting encourages honest conversation and helps ensure future supports are shaped by real experience,” said Dora MacElwain, Manager of Enterprising Monaghan Digi Hubs.
Participants will have the opportunity to share challenges, network with peers and directly influence what comes next. Registration is not necessary, you can just turn up on the day.
