Meet the Buyer event | Athlone | 13 November
The event, hosted by the National Development Finance Agency, the HSE and Enterprise Ireland, will highlight supply opportunities at 14 Primary Care centres to be developed in Ireland – 7 of which are in the HSE West Region. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the Primary Care Centres PPP programme, meet with the 3 short listed contractors/facilities management providers tendering for the projects and find out how to become a sub supplier to the projects. €4m SmartAgriFood Fund
EU grants of up to €100,000 will be available to web entrepreneurs and SMEs with new or innovative ideas for applications and services to address the lack of smart ICT tools suited for farm and wider agricultural use. Details at www.smartagrifood.com. 15th November is application deadline.
Startup Weekend | Galway | 14-16 November
If you're not familiar, Startup Weekend is a non-profit based in Seattle, Washington that organises 54-hour events in cities around the world where potential entrepreneurs, developers, designers and business development folks come together to pitch an idea and launch a business, all in one weekend. Competitive Start Fund for Female Entrepreneurs
A call for applications for Female Entrepreneurs or a female-led new startup company, active in the manufacturing & internationally traded services sectors opens on Wednesday 12th November, 2014and closes at 3pm on Wednesday 26th November 2014. Successful applicants will receive €50,000 investment (for 10% equity, €5,000 match investment required).

The Entrepreneur Exchange | Sligo | 27-28 November
Emerging entrepreneurs throughout Ireland are encouraged to apply to The Entrepreneur Exchange, a unique event by Sligo Chamber of Commerce, the Sligo European Enterprise Network and The Western Development Commission and partners in Sligo on November 27th and 28th. Twenty four entrepreneurs from companies with strong ambitions for growth will spend 24 hours of intense mentoring, workshops and a networking dinner with twenty four of Ireland’s most successful business leaders.

National Innovation Showcase | Dublin | 2 December
The national Innovation Showcase is the first gathering, in one location, of all State-supported research centres and technology centres of scale.
