FACILITATION OF
ROSCOMMON BUSINESS NETWORK
ROSCOMMON LOCAL ENTERPRISE OFFICE
Local Enterprise Office, Roscommon, is currently seeking to appoint a Facilitator to take over the running of the Roscommon Business Network and is hereby inviting tenders from interested, suitably qualified people. It is proposed to hold meetings on the first Thursday of each month in Roscommon town from 7pm – 8pm for the remainder of 2014, ie September, October, November and December. Thereafter, it is envisaged that 9 meetings will be held in 2015.
The Network, which is free to join, has been running since August 2009, facilitating all business sectors in Co. Roscommon and encouraging members to share experiences and contacts to grow business for and with each other.
The role of the facilitator is to:
- Organise the Venue.
- Set the Agenda.
- Source guest speakers, as required.
- Contact all database members with meeting details.
- Provide regular encouragement to members to be proactive in their input as it is their Network.
- Keep the members database updated.
- Keep the Roscommon Business Network website updated, along with Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter with current relevant news items, new business initiatives and events.
- Instigate discussions on these social media sites and encourage interaction among members so that a vibrant Network results.
- Provide a sign-in sheet after each meeting with a Report on the Meeting to the LEO Head.
