Now in its 16th year, National Women's Enterprise Day celebrates the success of female entrepreneurs and inspires female start-ups. We want to help build "Our Future, Our Way" so come and join our MC Loretta Ni Ghabhain, our Keynote Speaker, Susan Culleton Hayes "The Positive Economist" followed by Health and Wellness talk by Mary McHugh of Irish Online Counselling and female entrepreneurs from across the North West region for a day of exciting speakers, networking, inspiration and motivation!

Loretta Ní Ghabháin (MC)

Loretta is the founder and Director of the Multi award winning Digital marketing agency, Lorg Media.

Loretta is a Communications Consultant and was the first person to bring social media to the national broadcaster TG4, having already worked in numerous roles, both on and off camera, from film reviewer to producer on the ground for the Oprah Winfrey Show, along with being a broadcast news Director and Presenter with RTÉ and TG4.

Working as MC and Presenting are still in the mix and she has a keen interest in storytelling and promoting Irish language and culture internationally.

In her downtime she loves to hang out with her twin girls and basically live life to the max like hosting family get togethers and sing songs while keeping it balanced somewhat with sea swimming and meditation!

Susan HayesCulleton, CFA, “The Positive Economist” is Managing Director of the Hayes Culleton Group, with clients across Europe and the USA. The businesses include Active Peers AI which facilitates active peer learning and #SavvyTeenAcademy which manages the entire experience of teenage work experiences in corporate organisations. Susan acts as MC at hybrid conferences all over the world.

Susan is a five-time author including “Money Matters”, a financial literacy textbook that is now in every secondary school in Ireland with the support of CFA Ireland. She has twice co-authored “Positive Economics”, the market-leading Leaving Cert economics textbook in Ireland, and she is the author of two books published by Penguin, The “Savvy Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom” and “The Savvy Guide to Making More Money”. Susan is co-founder of The Positive Economist, Associate Lecturer at Ulster University, and host of the “ESG & Tech” YouTube show. She serves on the boards of the Irish International Business Network and the Ireland Hong Kong Business Forum. Susan holds a Chartered Financial Analyst charter, MSc Executive Leadership, BSc Financial Maths and Economics and a Diploma in Taxation.

Mary McHugh

Mary McHugh is a pioneer in her field.  Mary's company was the first in Ireland to set up an online counselling business, with the sole purpose of offering support to people who could not access support for their mental health in a conventional way.  She pushed through the barriers of what was considered the norm and met the needs of countless people all over the world.  Mary today has a team of over 20 therapists working online with people struggling with all the common issues we all struggle with at times.  Mary has been awarded two National Awards her work.  Mary does what she can to look after her own health and have balance, she is a Sea Swimmer, Gardener, and doting Nana as well as running her company.  She wants for mental health to be spoken about as candidly as we speak about our physical health.  Please have a look at her website www.counsellingonline.ie

Sarah Flood is the Managing Director of Snap Mayo, a company passionate about helping companies promote their brand, in a creative, modern and innovative way, enabling them to grow their business. A Castlebar woman born and bred, having qualified as a Graphic Designer, Sarah started her early career working in a small local design agency, progressed to a brief stint in Sattchi & Sattchi, which then progressed into a long-term career in Intersport Elverys as their Head of Design. Her time and experience in this role, led Sarah to setting up her own business and to her current role as Managing Director of Snap Mayo.
