To mark the end of a very successful Local Enterprise Week, the Local Enterprise Offices are delighted to offer you a chance to WIN a €200 gift voucher for a local business of your choice, as a thank you for joining us over the past week!


To enter, simply share a post or comment below sharing your favourite highlight from Local Enterprise Week, on Twitter, LinkedIn or Facebook, adding the hashtag #MakingItHappen.

This highlight might be a favourite event, speaker or moment from Local Enterprise Week 2021.


Please remember that you must include the #MakingItHappen hashtag in your posts, to be entered into the prize draw!


The competition runs from 8am to 4pm on Friday, March 5th 2021. A winner will be chosen when the competition closes at 4pm on March 5th and announced on our social media channels and contacted via DM!

Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoters of this competition are the network of The Local Enterprise Offices.
  2. The competition is open to everyone over the age of 18 in the Republic of Ireland, except employees of the Promoters, their families, or anyone professionally connected with the promotion or Local Enterprise Week.
  3. The winner will be chosen at random and the process will be overseen by Judges.
  4. To enter, individuals must share a highlight from Local Enterprise Week, together with the specified hashtag in a social media post (on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn) between 8am and 4pm, Friday, March 5th 2021 (GMT).
  5. The specified hashtag is #MakingItHappen must be used in the same social media post to count as an eligible entry.
  6. Only eligible posts on Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn will be entered into the draw.
  7. The Judges’ decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The €200 voucher will be paid for by The Local Enterprise Offices and delivery will be made from the chosen business to the winner.
  9. The promoters reserve the right to change any aspect of the prize.
  10. The promoters are excluded from liability for any loss or damage to the prize which might occur during transit.
  11. Vouchers are non-transferable and subject to availability. Standard delivery of the voucher to the winner’s home or place of work in the Republic of Ireland is included in the prize.
  12. No cash alternatives will be offered.
  13. Promoters are excluded from any injuries which might occur to the winner, arising from his or her acceptance of the prize.
  14. The prize will be subject to any additional terms and conditions of the suppliers of the prize.
  15. The terms and conditions shall be unconditionally accepted by participants entering the competition.
  16. The promoters have the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
  17. Competition closes at 4pm, Friday, March 5th 2021 (GMT)
  18. The winner will be announced on the evening of Friday, March 5th 2021 (GMT) and correspondence will be made to obtain delivery address and details via Direct Message (Private) on the day.
  19. The winner is to state the local business of their choice in this correspondence and gift vouchers must be available to purchase at this chosen outlet.
  20. If the message is not answered before 4pm on Monday, March 8th 2021 (GMT), the prize will be forfeited and another winner will be chosen.
  21. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission to use the relevant winner’s entry, name and county in related promotional activities.
  22. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
