WATCH BACK: The Agritech Revolution in Farming and Food event which took place on Wednesday, March 3rd at 9:30am!




Hosted by LEO South Cork, this annual AgriTech conference returned in an exclusively online capacity.

Speakers explored how using technology can put Ireland at the forefront of sustainable agriculture and where the export opportunities are. 3 cutting edge sessions tackled a variety of topics:

  • Global Pandemic Increasing AgriTech Engagement featuring Kieran Feeney of Herdeye, John Garvey of FarmHedge on farming plus Jack Crotty of NeighbourFood and Barbara Bray of ALO Solutions on Food.
  • AgriTech and Sustainability featuring – Michéal McInerney of StrongBo, Fiona Brennan of Teagasc and Laura Kane of UCC in a discussion moderated by Suzanne Campbell
  • AgriTech and Export Opportunities: This session explored food export opportunities with contributions by Conor Mulhall of The Little Milk Company and specialists from Enterprise Ireland.

The conference concluded with a keynote address by Aidan Connolly, AgriTech Capital.
