We’re absolutely thrilled to shine a spotlight on David McGettigan of the David McGettigan Clinic, Ballinode, one of Monaghan’s up and coming innovators!

David is a Pain & Movement Specialist, helping people overcome chronic pain, improve mobility, and restore movement through a blend of holistic assessment, movement-based therapies, and personalised rehabilitation, making real, life-changing improvements for his clients. 

With Mentoring Support from the Local Enterprise Office Monaghan, David has just been successful in securing a place on the highly competitive New Frontiers Programme to develop an exciting new AI App, an exciting step forward in his journey of innovation and impact. 🚀

David is passionate about using advances in technology to help people, commenting; ‘People who live with chronic pain are often isolated, overwhelmed and feel stuck without any clear direction. My goal is to give people the support, understanding and structure needed to take back control of their symptoms. Through this app I want to make high quality pain education and guidance available to anyone who needs it’. 

We think is passion to help others is well deserving of the title Hometown Hero.

And that’s not all, David is also a busy father of four, including baby twins! Talk about ambition and balance in action.
