Style was the order of the day at the most recent hugely successful Women in Business event (Thursday 28th August) organised by Laois Local Enterprise Office Laois.
The elegant Castle Durrow was the venue for the third so far in a series of events organised throughout the year to encourage and support female entrepreneurs in Laois.
The events give women an unrivalled opportunity to network and share information, and also to learn more about the wide range of supports available through the LEO and other similar business supports.
Honor Deevy, Senior Enterprise Development Officer with Laois LEO said,

That popularity was borne out by the large group of women turned out for the networking lunch event and heard keynote speaker Breeda O’ Connell speak on ‘Style with Purpose – how to Dress with Confidence, Clarity and Impact’.Introducing Breeda, Ms Deevy described her as “A passionate and highly experienced Image Consultant who has worked with hundreds of women to show how personal style can support their everyday lives, as well as their most extraordinary moments. Well known PR, Sally McEllistrim of ‘Get It Across PR and Communications’ also spoke at the event where she gave a brief insight into Public Relations and the value it brings to businesses and brands.
