Course Outline:

The Introduction to Start Your Own Business Course is a pre-cursor to our full Start Your Own Business Course. The course focuses on three key areas of business, allowing you to gain a deep understanding of each area before moving on to complete our full Start Your Own Business Course. The course will also include an overview of LEO supports/grants.

This is a one-day course being delivered through Zoom.

Course Content:

Participants will be introduced to three key areas of business, along with an overview of LEO supports/grants;

•  Legals - focusing on Sole Trader vs Ltd. Company, insurance and banking
•  Finance - high level tax (registration for tax, VAT and PAYE), importance of bookkeeping and some expert tips on administration
•  Marketing - importance of digital marketing (website & socials)
•  Supports - overview of LEO supports/grants
