Tick tock! Tick Tock!

What are you waiting for?

IBYE -time running out

“The clock is counting down. We are fast approaching the closing date for applications for Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur. Now is the time for you to visit www.ibye.ieto enter” says Thomas McEvoy, Head of Enterprise for Local Enterprise Office Louth.

Now in its fifth year, this dynamic competition is open to 18 to 35-year-olds who have an idea for starting a business or who are already running their own business.

“We have a €50,000 prize fund to give away here in Louth and we are looking for young entrepreneurs to enter in the three categories: Best New Idea, Best Start Up and Best Established Business.”

All entrants are invited to an Enterprise Day with brilliant business advice and mentoring on offer. From there, a shortlist will be invited to an intensive Boot Camp and will move forward the #IBYE County Final.

Past finalist in IBYE Mark Reilly of Aphix Software in Drogheda is encouraging others to apply.  “Enter IBYE for more than the competition – do it to help grow yourself as a business owner. Do it for the great mentoring and bootcamp. Do it to meet like-minded people, and above all do it to get out of your normal tunnel vision and build a new future for your business.”

The application process is quick, free and simple but applications close on March 15th so time is running out. “Just visit www.ibye.ie and take 15 minutes to complete your application. If you have any difficulties at all give our IBYE Co-ordinator Sarah Mallon a call on 042 9324184. We’re just a call away and we are happy to help.”

Thomas McEvoy concluded “We love to see a young entrepreneur from #TeamLouth making it to the National Finals of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur 2019 in Google this year. Come on, enter the competition today and who knows it could be you!”
