GOOGLE DIGITAL GARAGE HELPING LOCAL BUSINESS TO GROW ONLINE

Don’t miss out on 5 brilliant free digital skills courses for SME’s over the next 6 weeks” said Thomas McEvoy, Louth County Council’s Head of Enterprise.

He was speaking this week at the announcement that businesses in Louth can now sign up for the Google Digital Garage. Part of the Grow with Google initiative, small business owners can access free live online digital skills training sessions.

These are designed to help grow your business by embracing online opportunities.

Thomas continues “So many small businesses have been catapulted into trading online over the past year owing to COVID-19. These hour-long sessions are a really good grounding in the basics of e-commerce. They are very practical. For example the first session focuses on practical ways that your business can benefit from digital marketing. The second works on creating a search-friendly website that is intuitive to use. The third is a masterclass in how to use Google ad words, while the fourth and fifth sessions respectively focus on SEO and analytics.”

Some businesses operate purely online. Others are a mixture of bricks and clicks. But whatever your business mix, you can benefit from taking part in these free online classes, courtesy of Google” Thomas explains.

The Google Digital Garage events commence on Tuesday 15th June and take place every Tuesday for the following 4 weeks.
