The Start Your Own Business Training programme has been designed to address the needs of those wishing to start their own business, or those who have recently started trading. it is aimed at providing practical support, advice and guidance in a broad range of business areas. This programme will enable participants to gain a working knowledge of how to set up a business and/or to manage an existing business. The course runs for three weeks with two sessions per week.

  • A Business Advisory Service, which provides one to one support to assist you in the development of your business idea.
  • A financial planning service which will highlight potential sources of funding and eligibility towards further assistance, such as grants, low interest loans and equity.

  • This 3 week course will run over 3 consecutive weeks with 2 sessions per week. The first session on Tuesday 12th May will be in person at The Mill Enterprise Hub, Newtown Link Road, Newtownstalaban, Drogheda and the remainder of sessions will be online ie from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m.  Please note for the online sessions you will require a suitable device to take part. This could be a tablet, laptop or Smartphone with speaker and Camera.  A headset is recommended but not essential. Adequate broadband speed is also required. Minimum speed of 2mb is recommended.
