Awareness Raising Initiative for Social Enterprise ARISE scheme

Earlier today Minister for Rural and Community Development Heather Humphreys TD announced the new €500,000 Awareness Raising Initiative for Social Enterprise (ARISE) scheme under the Dormant Accounts Fund.

This critically important and innovative scheme is designed to raise awareness of the social enterprise business model in general and to support the reopening of these businesses in a manner that enhances their markets and allows them to communicate their social/environmental impact. In so doing, this scheme is directly supporting the central objectives of the National Social Enterprise Policy and the Awareness Strategy, as well core pillars of the Economic Recovery Plan.

Support is available for both individual social enterprises (up to €10,000) and for network/support organisations (up to €50,000). For more information see here.
