Minister Bruton Hosts Action Plan for Jobs Business Forum in Mayo

The Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Mr. Richard Bruton TD, hosted a very successful Action Plan for Jobs, Business Forum in the Ballina Manor Hotel on Friday 30th January.

The purpose of each forum is to outline the Government’s approach to the creation of employment, to promote increased take up of the new and existing supports which are available, and to hear feedback from local business people.  Minister Bruton was accompanied by Enterprise Ireland, IDA Ireland, Mayo Local Enterprise Office and Údarás na Gaeltachta. This event follows on from a series of successful business forum events in 2012, 2013 and 2014. This is the first of a series of events in 2015.

Later in the morning, Minister Bruton visited Hollister, who last year announced that they would invest €80 million at their facility in Ballina, Co. Mayo. The Minister also met with the CEO of Mayo County Council and Joanne Grehan CEO of the Local Enterprise Office, Mayo.
