78% of companies in Mayo forecast growth in the next 12 months

78% of companies based in Mayo forecast growth in the next 12 months, while one in five companies in Mayo consider themselves start-ups... these are among the key findings of a survey of businesses based in Mayo conducted by Local Enterprise Office Mayo.

The ultimate goal of the survey was to help LEO Mayo to tailor its supports to the needs of local businesses and to help to increase employment and entrepreneurial opportunities in Mayo. The survey was conducted in late 2014, and received 650 responses out of 4,000 businesses in the county.
