Green Hospitality supports responsible and sustainable tourism across Ireland and is dedicated to supporting the industry in continually minimising their impact on the environment.

This 1/2 day event will introduce hospitality businesses to the opportunities that Responsible Tourism can deliver to the sector.  The workshop is FREE to attend and we welcome all hospitality businesses including Hotels, Pubs, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Canteens, B&B’s and Leisure Centres.
Workshops Outline
Resource Efficiency for Hospitality Businesses

Energy, Waste and Water represent large cost centres for most businesses.  The workshop will show businesses how to start taking control of these costs and will provide many tips and advice.


Environmental Compliance



All businesses must adhere to regulations and this session will identify the key environmental legislation regulations that impact on the hospitality sector.

  •  Certification and the Wild Atlantic Way
  •  Micro & Small Businesses
  •  Larger Hospitality businesses


Implementing a Responsible Tourism Certification/Recognition programme.  What are the benefits and how will this impact on businesses ability to market their product/service on the Wild Atlantic Way.  The workshop will identify solutions for large and small businesses.
