Selling to Government: Breakfast Briefing @ The Great National Hotel, Ballina, 7:30AM - 10:30AM, 27th June

Local Enterprise Office Mayo in partnership with InterTradeIreland will deliver an interactive workshop that aims to demystify, educate and engage businesses around public procurement, a market worth in the region of €12bn pa. nationally.  

This introductory briefing will cover a range of topics to include:  

• What is public procurement?       
• The public procurement models on the island (Ireland & N. Ireland)
• How to access opportunities
• Good bidding practice and common mistakes to avoid.  

The briefing is aimed at micro businesses and SME’s who are new to public procurement or those who wish to update their market knowledge.

John Maughan, Mayo County Council’s Procurement Officer, will also be making an input to the briefing.  

The event is free and registration is open from 7:30am, with refreshments served.
