This full-day online course is designed for founders, entrepreneurs, and business owners who are considering building an app or who are already part-way through development. The focus is on understanding what it really takes to turn an app idea into a viable commercial product, beyond just the technical build.

The course will cover:

    • Validating an app idea from a commercial and customer-demand perspective

    • Choosing the right app model (native, web, hybrid, SaaS) and understanding cost implications

    • Core technical components and common development pitfalls

    • Designing for scalability, security, and maintainability

    • App store readiness: positioning, pricing, listings, approvals, and ongoing updates

    • Legal, compliance, and data protection considerations often overlooked early

    • Monetisation strategies and revenue models

    • Go-to-market planning, early traction, and post-launch iteration

    • Real-world examples of what works, what fails, and why

The emphasis is on practical decision-making, avoiding costly mistakes, and helping participants understand the full lifecycle of a commercial app, not just the build phase.
