A Meath based company is designing and exporting bespoke recycling machines to America.

Bridgeman EcoSystems, based near Ashbourne, was established by Pearse McGrath in 2018 and has received orders worth over half a million Euro.

It is about to ship a ‘ProAir 1500’ machine to California in the USA. It separates and removes contaminants such as plastic and film from compost; the end product is a high quality compost. Despite their size, the machines are fully mobile, are operated by remote control and can rotate 360 degrees.

The family run company has received a range of supports from the Local Enterprise Office in Meath.
