This is an exciting new pilot programme for individuals with disabilities who wish to start their own business. The programme will begin on Tuesday, 7 October 2025 and will be delivered 'in-person' in Meath County Council’s new state of the art Centre of Business Excellence – Thrive. The programme workshops will take place each Tuesday morning from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm and will run weekly for ten consecutive weeks.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday, 16 September 2025. This course is open to any person with a disability who lives in County Meath and is thinking of starting their own business.
Workshops will include the following topics:
- Introduction to the Business Model Canvas.
- Customer Segments and Value Propositions.
- Channels and Customer Relationships.
- Revenue Streams.
- Key Resources.
- Key Activities.
- Key Partnerships.
- Cost Structure.
- Final Business Model Canvas Presentations and Peer Review.
Throughout the programme, a number of guest speakers will share valuable information and insights on entrepreneurship with the group. Free follow-on mentorship is also included for all participants.
